Scope of Works- New Car Park, Foundations for Modular Building and Canopy Works

In 2019 we started a project for Graham Facilities Management and Walsall Council at Old Hall School in Walsall.

We started by excavating and removing trees in a existing bank to reduce the levels down to formation level for the car park and reducing levels in another area for the Modular building foundations. 

To construct the new car park we firstly installed road kerbs around the perimeter of the car park and new ACO Drains. We then installed MOT Type 1 to build up the levels and tarmac surfacing on the non porous areas whilst we installed MOT Type 3 to build up the levels and block paving on the porous areas. We then overlayed the existing tarmac driveway and installed new line markings to the complete area.

The construction of the modular foundation involved installing MOT Type 1, Provoid Gas Membrane, Protech, A393 mesh and concrete ready for the specialist Modular Building contractor to put the building on.

During this project we also installed new fencing, gates, a retaining wall, brickwork and automation.
